Dermetone Enzyme Exfoliating Mask is a chemical exfoliation that utilizes the biological enzymes Papain (from Papaya) and Bromelain (from Pineapples) to stimulate exfoliation by digesting inter-corneocyte cohesion chemically, in other words it breaks down the “glue” that holds dead, dull skin cells together.
These proteolytic enzymes decompose proteins into smaller fragments, causing a softening effect to the skin and a sloughing of corneocytes. Unlike AHAs, their activity is not pH dependent but is activated by water and restricted in the amount of exfoliation that can be achieved (making it safer than chemical peels).
It also increases vasodilation which in turn improves blood flow & skin tone. Enzyme exfoliation works more gently than AHA chemical exfoliants to shed skin cells and speed up the skin’s natural exfoliation process.
Enzyme Therapy is ideal for those who have skin that is too sensitive for surface peels, but still experiences one or more of the following issues:
  • Breakouts
  • Clogged pores
  • Dull skin
  • Hyperpigmentation (UV, hormonal, PIH)

To be used once or twice a week after Soy Milk Exfoliation. Apply generous amount (approximately half teaspoon) to WET face and neck, gently massaging in small circular movements, avoiding the delicate eye area. Allow to penetrate for 20min. Rinse off thoroughly.
